At Clarendon we take opportunities for children to take part in as many activities as possible. Extra curricular activities are organised both in and out of school.
Clubs to suit all interests are organised at lunchtimes, after school and during the holidays, as well as a Youth Club for our older and ex pupils. We also offer a breakfast club every morning, and a healthy tuck shop on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

School Residential Trips
During Year 7 pupils experience an exciting residential trip to Carroty Wood in Kent. The 5 days are always full of fun and new experiences for pupils, where many have not been away from home before. Activities include swimming, abseiling, go karting, high ropes, and BMX biking.
In Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils are given the opportunity to go on a week’s performing arts residential trip to Leiston Abbey in Suffolk. All pupils work incredibly hard to establish a wonderfully creative and supportive atmosphere, putting together a production which they perform at the end of the week and to the whole school when they return.
In Key Stage 4 pupils complete a challenging outward bound week, which contributes to their Youth Awards.
Youth club runs every Wednesday between 7pm – 9pm, during term time. Club is open to young people with special educational needs aged 14 -25 and offer a range of activities to build social and independent skills. Entrance to the club is £1 per week with additional change needed for tuck shop. Since September 2015, a local football coach has dedicated time to train young people with the potential to enter into league games once a month.
